Meet Our Dentist

 

Dr. Michael Kaye
Dr. Kaye has been practicing dentistry in Mesa, Arizona, at the same location since 1989. His favorite part of dentistry is the opportunity to be a part of creating beautiful smiles. He has an emphasis on functional aesthetic dentistry and is one of very few dentists in the country with advanced training in this field.

When not doing dentistry, he enjoys time with friends and family, including his quadruplets! He also has a love for antique cars, architecture and philosophy.

Dr. Kaye practiced in Illinois for two years before moving to Arizona in 1988. Since that time, Dr. Kaye has been providing dental treatment in Dobson Ranch to members of the community and surrounding areas.

Dr. Kaye strives to provide excellent dental treatment in a caring and comfortable environment, resulting in an all-around positive experience. His reputation for a gentle touch, patience and understanding has garnered generations of lifelong patients and made him a valued Dobson Ranch community member. Dr. Kaye has also volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club “Kids A Smile.” He has been a resident of the Mesa and Tempe area on and off for the past 26 years, and he is the proud father of quadruplets, two boys and two girls, and spends as much time as he can with them.

Lyuba
Lyuba — Hygienist
Having embarked on her dental journey at just 17, Lyuba swiftly evolved from a sterile technician in a bustling office to a proficient dental assistant. After managing staggered schedules, she pursued dental hygiene, earning her degree from Columbia Basin College in 2014. A recipient of a restorative award and honors graduate, Lyuba passionately educates patients while offering attentive care. Raised in a sprawling global family, her artistic flair, musical inclination, and love for outdoor adventures complement her fulfilling career. A lifelong aspiration led her to dentistry, with her first job shadowing experience at 16.

 

Monique
Monique — Dental Assistant
In just 6 months since February 2023, Monique has emerged as a skilled Dental Assistant. Graduating from The American Institute of Dental Assisting in 2023, she earned her Dental Assisting Certificate and is pursuing Coronal Polishing certification. She cherishes the familial bond with her colleagues and thrives in this practice. Outside dentistry, Monique embraces a busy life with a 1-year-old son, a firefighter and medic brother, and four high school siblings. Her creative flair shines through art, music, running, and culinary endeavors.

 

Teri
Teri — Office Coordinator
Teri, a recent Arizona transplant since February 2023, embraces her stroke of luck in securing this position. With a background in probation, she serendipitously found her passion in dentistry. Enthusiastically collaborating with a congenial staff, she delights in patient interactions, leveraging 15 years of experience to optimize dental benefits and ensure comprehensive care.
Sue
Sue — Bookkeeper/Insurance Expert
Sue is an experienced accountant and insurance specialist who joined our dental practice in 2000. She holds a BS degree from Western Michigan University, graduating Cum Laude. Sue’s favorite aspect of being part of our practice is the team’s collaborative approach to work, where everyone pitches in to get the job done. She contributes to the success of the practice by helping our patients maximize their dental insurance benefits, particularly for patients on Medicare. Outside of work, Sue enjoys practicing yoga, swimming, and hiking. She has a strong family connection and takes pride in being a mother to a son who is an assistant high school principal and a proud grandmother to a 10-year-old granddaughter. Sue is grateful to work for a practice that prioritizes the patients’ need for dental work and good hygiene.
