A Dream Three Months in the Making: Welcome to Our Newly Renovated Practice

October 5 opened our renovated Mesa practice — a warmer, independently owned office built around comfort and care.

October 5th marks a very special day for us — the opening of our newly renovated practice.

What you see today is more than a newly renovated dental office. It is the result of a vision, countless decisions, unexpected challenges, long days, and the unwavering support of an incredible team and our amazing patients.

From the very beginning, I had a very clear vision of what I wanted this practice to feel like.

I wanted to create a space where patients could walk through the doors and immediately feel welcomed, comfortable, cozy, and cared for. I never wanted our office to feel like the typical white, sterile, modern dental practice that can sometimes feel cold or intimidating.

Instead, I wanted it to feel like a place where you could take a deep breath and feel at home.

Every Detail Was Chosen With You in Mind

Throughout the entire renovation, one question guided every decision:

“How will this make our patients feel?”

From the cabinet knobs and finishes to the patient chairs, dental drills, equipment, and sterilization center, every detail was chosen intentionally.

We did not cut corners.

We invested in high-quality materials and the latest technology because we believe that exceptional patient care begins with having the right environment, equipment, and tools to provide it.

Our sterilization center features a VistaPure water system, because we believe in going above and beyond what is simply required. We want to provide our patients with the highest standard of care — not because we have to, but because we believe you deserve it.

Every patient who walks through our doors will be cared for with the utmost attention to quality, safety, comfort, and compassion.

Whether that means using the highest-quality materials and equipment or simply taking a few extra moments to make someone feel at ease, the little things matter to us.

A Practice Built on a Dream

This practice is independently owned by Dr. Susan DeWood, who has always dreamed of creating a practice where both patients and staff feel safe, respected, welcomed, and free of judgment.

We are not a big corporate dental office.

We are a locally owned practice where relationships matter.

We know that going to the dentist isn’t exactly at the top of everyone’s favorite things to do. We understand that dental treatment can bring fear, anxiety, or simply a feeling of discomfort.

And we understand.

That is why we’ve intentionally created an environment designed around comfort.

You’ll find warm blankets, neck pillows, noise-canceling headphones, weighted stuffed animals, and, most importantly, a compassionate team that genuinely wants you to feel comfortable and cared for.

Our goal isn’t simply to provide excellent dentistry.

It’s to change the way you feel about going to the dentist.

Three Months. Countless Challenges. One Beautiful Result.

The construction itself took exactly three months, transforming the space from the ground up.

And, as with any major renovation, it certainly wasn’t without its challenges.

On our very last day in the old office before moving out, we experienced flooding.

We had to pack up our entire practice, move everything, and temporarily practice out of another dental office while construction continued.

The office we left

Then came the inspections — one after another — as we worked through the many requirements and approvals from the city.

There were moments when things didn’t go according to plan. There were roadblocks, unexpected problems, delays, and plenty of stress.

But through every challenge, we kept coming back to the same vision.

We knew what we were building.

Three months of building

And we knew it would be worth it.

We Didn’t Do It Alone

As exciting as this new chapter is, we know we wouldn’t be standing here today without the people who supported us along the way.

Our incredible team worked through the challenges with us, adapting, problem-solving, and continuing to care for our patients even when things were far from easy.

And our patients — you have been absolutely amazing.

Your patience, encouragement, excitement, and support throughout this entire process meant more to us than we can put into words.

Some of you cheered us on as you watched the renovation unfold. Some of you patiently followed us while we practiced from another location. And many of you simply kept telling us how excited you were to see the finished space.

You believed in the vision with us.

For that, we are incredibly grateful.

A New Beginning

Today, we finally get to open the doors and share the result of that vision with you.

This office is more than walls, furniture, and equipment.

It represents the kind of practice we have always wanted to build — one centered around people, comfort, trust, quality, and exceptional care.

So, without further ado…

Come by and say hello!

We would love to welcome our existing patients into our new space and introduce ourselves to those who haven’t visited us yet.

Come see the new office. Take a look around. Meet our team. Sit in the chair (we promise it’s comfortable!). And let us show you what we’ve been working so hard to create.

Our doors are open, and we are ready to welcome you.

To our longtime patients: thank you for growing with us.

To our new patients: we can’t wait to meet you.

And to everyone who helped make this dream possible: thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Here’s to a beautiful new chapter — and to creating a dental experience where everyone can feel safe, comfortable, welcomed, and cared for.

Welcome to our new home. We can’t wait to see you on October 5th!

Ready to schedule your visit?

Whether you have been with us for years or are looking for a new dental home, we would love to welcome you.
